In this <a title=\"&quot;Valley of God,&quot; FT 10.VIII.12.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/2\/a7845296-e1b2-11e1-92f5-00144feab49a.html#axzz23YPOlLJ3\">interesting piece from the Financial Times Weekend&#8217;s Life and Arts section<\/a> of August 10, 2012, April Dembowsky offers a different perspective on America&#8217;s most innovative landscape.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Jeffrey Pugh from Elon University makes <a title=\"Pugh article at Elon\" href=\"http:\/\/www.elon.edu\/e-net\/Note.aspx?id=961506\">the interesting observation on CNN<\/a> that the fact Barack Obama is the only person on a nationwide ticket this year who happens to be Protestant is less significant than the fact that the other three candidates running for president or vice-president happen to be Mormon (Romney) or Catholic (Ryan and Biden)\u2014two faiths historically marginalized and disadvantaged in America.
